5 of the Best Plant Shops in Los Angeles
People ask me all the time where I get my plants and it's not just one spot. I have tried-and-true plant shops that I go to all over Los Angeles and am always seeking new shops. Below are my 5 favorites.
Folia Collective, Pasadena
380 S Lake Ave Ste 105, Pasadena, CA 91101
Folia Collective has a curated collection of house plants, air plants, and rare plants I've never been able to find anywhere else. My most recent finds were a zig zag cactus and the calathea ornata I recently blogged about. This place is tiny but mighty. You can find plant-themed greeting cards, cacti earrings, unique ceramic planters, cutting shears, and more!
Rolling Greens, Los Angeles
7505 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036
Rolling Greens is the most convenient for me to shop at as it is right next door to my nail place, closest to my home, and always has a good selection of succulents, cacti, and house plants. They also have a planting station, a crazy selection of home decor items including candles, cards, and SO much more. I'm always buying small ceramics and Rolling Greens is always filling them for me. Thanks guys!
Venice Plants, Venice
620 Lincoln Blvd, Venice, CA 90291
Dustin and Tina are the husband/wife team running Venice Plants. They've been there for decades, they run the shop with their sons, they are no nonsense, hilarious, genuine, good people and about 80% of the plants I own are from here. My fiddle leaf fig, my giant cacti, my monstera, zz plant, snake plant, dracaena, elephant ear, they're all from here. They know me by name and when they see me they tell me to go home, I have enough plants. I love them and I love their jungle-like plant shop. It is not curated, they don't have home goods, they just have a shit ton of awesome plants.
Bloom Maven, Torrance
1616 Cravens Ave, Torrance, CA 90501
My friend Akiko opened Bloom Maven in the heart of old town Torrance. This sweet shop is filled with pothos, cacti, flowers for creating your own gorgeous bouquets, sage bundles, ceramics, earrings, and more. It is a well curated shop that hosts workshops and is as cute as can be.
Peacock & Co., Long Beach
440 E First St, Long Beach, CA 90802
I've yet to visit the new sister store in San Pedro, but if it is anything like the Long Beach location, it is everything you could want in a plant shop. The satin pothos I got here over a year ago grew to be five feet!! Whenever I'm in Long Beach I make a point to stop in here and I've never left empty handed.
Los Angeles is home to some AMAZING plant shops. We are lucky enough to live in a city thats climate supports cactus and house plants. I love our city and I love the plants and plant shops I have found here. If I missed your favorite shop, tell me in the comments.
