Unique Artwork That Fills My Home
If there was a fire, what would you grab? Aside from the obvious, family members and pets, the things you would grab would be the items that are irreplaceable. The family photo album, artwork your grandfather painted, the sculpture your friend gifted you, or the pieces you have collected on your travels.
These unique pieces make your home, YOUR home and no one else's. Below are my favorite items.
Each of these pieces fills my heart and my home with joy. The main image in this post is a portrait done by my extremely talented friend, Lluvia. You can order your own portrait from her here.
The weaving above our bed is a custom piece made by Sunwoven. Our bookshelf features two family portraits, find more information in this blog post. The five embroidered ladies was a custom piece I found on instagram, same with the gorgeous ceramic cactus paddles in our hallway that are near impossible to photograph.
Our dining room is filled with some of my all-time favorites. The image of the two old fashioneds was taken on Matty and I's first date. The Jon & Vinny's print is actually the lid of a pizza box from our one year anniversary dinner. The date in the heart is our wedding day. The pasta print was painstakingly brought home from our trip to Florence. And the other prints I just liked and found either on Etsy or at the Renegade Craft Fair.
